Steampunk Design

Steampunk was this week subject matter and I instantly though of old Victorian diving suits, these suits were crazy and looked utterly bizarre, and that's what gave them character, often appearing creepy and mysterious. 

I liked the idea that in an alternate world, these diving suit were used as some sort of armour, they were very thick iron suits, and could deflect anything thrown at them because of this. I created a sort of steam-powered giant in diving suit armour.

To give a sense of scale I added a mall figure being clutched by the giant. As for colour I chose brass and rusted colours to give it a look of wear and tear.
